Educating through COVID-19: responding to change

Main Title

Education Elements

As we talk with leaders across education and our district partners, we are learning that their most challenging and immediate needs are changing daily. Luckily our team is well versed in being responsive. We have learned over the last few weeks that our approaches, practices, and habits around doing work are helping not only our team but your teams to adjust to this constant state of change. In addition to holding webinars, our team is actively creating resources and building innovative spaces for conversations across states, roles and lived experiences. Our goal has been to build cohesiveness in the conversation, connecting leaders to learn from each other as they face similar unprecedented challenges.
To support school districts, we have developed a second series of complimentary webinars, virtual multi-day events, blog posts, downloadable guides, and even 1:1 office hours and coffee chats for K-12 leaders to “talk it out” should you need it. We’ve organized this into the following focus areas: Leadership, Culture,Virtual Learning + Virtual Work, and Communication.

Schools – Leading in a time of Crisis

Main Title

Jeff Ikler and Kirsten Richert

Most of us are living in an unprecedented time. Not since World War II, have we experienced something that can literally impact every person on the planet. Getting through the COVID-19 pandemic is taking incredible resources and resourcefulness. It is also forcing us to look at one another and work with one another differently. And one place of work where that is extremely evident is in U.S. schools

This podcast series consists of conversations with educators across the country on how they are leading their schools in this time of crisis. Because these educators are extremely busy helping their schools and communities to pivot, we’ve intentionally limited these conversations to 15 minutes.

It’s our hope that these conversations will provide nuggets of solid advice and emotional support to other educators on the front lines of change.
